Dumpling King’s Taiwan launch moves forward—company officially established

The Japanese chain Dumpling King announced plans to enter the Taiwanese market last year, but there has been little news about it since. However, if you check Dumpling King’s regular business reports, expanding to Taiwan has always been part of their plans. The latest progress is that Dumpling King has set up “Wangjiang Catering Services Co., Ltd.” in Taiwan, bringing the brand one step closer to opening in Taiwan.

Wangjiang Catering Services Co., Ltd. was approved for establishment by the Taipei City Government on January 5, 2017. The registered chairman is Watanabe Naoto, with two other directors, Saegusa Hidenori and Kiso Hiroshi, and an auditor, Takahashi Masatoshi. These four individuals are respectively the representative director (Watanabe Naoto), directors (Saegusa Hidenori and Kiso Hiroshi), and statutory auditor (full-time) (Takahashi Masatoshi) of the Japanese Dumpling King company “Kabushiki Kaisha Osho Foods Group.” This further confirms that Wangjiang Catering Services Co., Ltd. is indeed a subsidiary established by Kabushiki Kaisha Osho Foods Group.
