The first Asia-Pacific travel-themed flagship store by LV to open in Singapore in September

Situated at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, Louis Vuitton’s first waterfront flagship store, the Island Maison, is set to grandly open on September 18 this year. Upon its inauguration, a one-of-a-kind new architectural landmark will rise along the scenic waterfront, heralding a fresh new look for the city-state’s high-end retail scene. The Louis Vuitton flagship at Marina Bay Sands represents an innovative concept never before seen in the brand’s history and is also the first Louis Vuitton Maison in Southeast Asia. The architectural concept was designed by internationally renowned architect Peter Marino, while the interior takes inspiration from maritime themes. Both inside and out, the space is infused with a rich artistic and cultural atmosphere, offering visitors a refreshing and enjoyable shopping experience.

The ground floor of the new store showcases the brand’s full range of leather goods, ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories for both men and women. Part of the mezzanine level has been designated as the brand’s first Travel Room (travel culture salon) in the Asia-Pacific market, featuring Louis Vuitton’s signature luggage and travel accessories. The mezzanine also houses a private VIP lounge, providing guests with a comfortable environment to explore the latest collections. The outdoor balcony is designed to echo the ambiance of a luxury cruise deck, complementing the picturesque waterfront views outside.

A subterranean passage connects the flagship store to the Marina Bay Sands mall, featuring contemporary artworks on display. As customers walk through the underground passage from the hotel mall to the flagship store, they will first encounter the Louis Vuitton bookstore, which stocks a curated selection of books on design, culture, and art. Ascending a spiral staircase leads to the dedicated area for watches, fine jewellery, and rare luxury handbags.
