Catch the century’s wedding boom—Taitung’s Hand in Hand Wedding Season now open for registration

To catch the century’s wedding boom, Taitung County Government has specially organized a wedding theme for each of September and October: a tribal wedding and a grassland wedding, allowing engaged couples to choose either theme to participate. With just a passionate trip to the mountain-and-sea Taitung, they can fulfill the dream of holding hands for a lifetime. Joint weddings are now open for registration.

The “Taitung Hand in Hand Wedding Season – Resort Joint Wedding” hosted by Taitung County Government will hold an unforgettable “tribal wedding” on September 10 at the Beinan Cultural Park, following the cultural customs of the Paiwan people; and a romantic “grassland wedding” on October 9 at Taitung City Forest Park. The brochure and application form have been published on the Taitung Tourism website and the Taitung Hand in Hand Wedding Season website. Interested individuals can download the brochure and application form online, or pick up paper versions at Taitung Railway Station, Tiesih Road Tourist Service Center, and the Tourism Department.

The registration fee for the joint wedding is NT$2,000. Participants confirmed by the organizing committee to attend the wedding will each receive a wedding gift pack, including high-quality Taitung Chihshang rice, a pair of happiness glass bracelets, a ViS cosmetics set, one marriage certificate (two copies), and a DVD of the highlights of the wedding ceremony.
