Celebrating National Day, the Dadaocheng Fireworks Festival has been postponed to October 10

The “2011 Taipei Dadaocheng Fireworks Festival,” originally planned for Qixi Festival on August 6, was recently postponed due to the impact of Typhoon Muifa. The Taipei City Government’s Department of Information and Tourism announced on the 11th that the Dadaocheng Fireworks Festival will now be held on October 10, allowing the public to join in the festive atmosphere of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of China.

This year’s centennial National Day fireworks will be launched in Changhua, and the Dadaocheng Fireworks Festival will complement the Changhua event, enabling people from all regions to celebrate the 100th anniversary together. The Dadaocheng Fireworks Festival will begin at 8:30 PM, with an estimated 12,000 fireworks set off over a 20-minute period. It will incorporate various innovative elements, guaranteeing a refreshing and spectacular experience for attendees. The event is expected to attract half a million visitors.
