Thailand’s “Little Europe,” The Circle Shopping Street in Bangkok

Bangkok is one of Asia’s premier shopping paradises, not only home to numerous department stores but also a hub for design boutiques. In addition to Siam Square in the city center, Tonglo and H1 are also popular destinations for design-savvy travelers, and The Circle, which opened at the end of last year, is currently the hottest shopping street, rich in exotic charm and dubbed “Bangkok’s Little Europe.”

The Circle Shopping Plaza is set within a high-end residential area and utilizes expansive green spaces for integrated planning. It primarily caters to modern families seeking taste and style, meeting various needs for dining, entertainment, fashion, and daily life. Currently, there are over 70 large stores and more than 200 small shops, each quaint, elegant, and bright with soft, vibrant colors.

The architecture of the shopping street combines modern, European, and Thai designs, making strolls along the area a visual delight. Even if you’re not planning an extensive shopping spree, it’s well worth a relaxing walk or an afternoon tea here. The commercial area is divided into four zones: Main Street is the main area for large stores and offers 24-hour service; Basil Street features specialty shops and gourmet food; Orchid Street focuses on health and beauty products; and Colour Street sells clothing, accessories, handicrafts, and more. Other areas are slated for future development, which is highly anticipated.
