Taiwanese bubble tea has become increasingly diverse and rich, with fresh milk tea and brown sugar-based drinks being among the must-tries. Recently, brown sugar tapioca fresh milk has taken Taichung by storm, leading to the rise of many popular bubble tea shops, including Kebuke Aged Black Tea, Xiaochazhai, and Tigersugar, each with their own signature drinks.

1. Kebuke Aged Black Tea
Kebuke Aged Black Tea is not only a popular drink shop in Taichung but also has multiple branches in northern Taiwan. It uses specially imported black tea from Sri Lanka that is aged for 12 to 36 months. The decor follows a British retro style, featuring lots of wooden elements, a counter designed to look like a ladder, and a full wall of grid-style panels. The high-end bubble teas and stylish shop have made it a favorite photo spot for netizens.

The brown sugar patterns blend into the fresh milk tea, with a rich aroma of roasted black sugar paired with chewy pearls—many who have tried it praise its flavor as not overly sweet.
