Tony Stark makes a live appearance as Iron Man land officially opens at Hong Kong Disneyland

Leading the world, the highly anticipated first Marvel-themed attraction in any Disney park, "Iron Man" (known locally as "Iron Man Experience"), officially opened on the 11th at Hong Kong Disneyland. At today’s (the 10th) opening ceremony, not only was Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek present, but Iron Man himself—Tony Stark—also made a personal appearance to
kick off the celebration, sending excitement levels soaring.

The story behind Iron Man land at Hong Kong Disneyland begins when Tony Stark decides to host the Stark Expo in Tomorrowland at Hong Kong Disneyland, allowing guests to preview and explore the latest and most powerful inventions from Stark Industries.

This opening event specially recreated the Expo celebration. In addition to inviting guests from around the world, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek and Hong Kong Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying were also present to jointly inaugurate the Iron Man Experience. At the end of the ceremony, the Dazzlers performed a sizzling dance, while Iron Man—Tony Stark—made a surprise appearance, electrifying the crowd.

In addition to the "Stark Expo," where guests can see the latest and most advanced creations from "Stark Industries," the Iron Man Experience at Hong Kong Disneyland also lets riders board the Mark III armor and "fly" through simulated versions of areas like West Kowloon and downtown Hong Kong, soaring over iconic landmarks such as the Tsing Ma Bridge and Victoria Harbour. The "Stark Expo Store" will gradually offer over 70 exclusive Hong Kong Disneyland "Iron Man" merchandise items, along with more than 250 Marvel-themed products. The store also features an interactive motion-sensing game called "Become Iron Man," where guests can experience what it's like to become the superhero through simulation effects.
