Masterpieces by fashion designers debut in Taiwan, art exhibition kicks off on October 15

Leading lifestyle concept store CLUB DESIGNER celebrates its 30th anniversary and will host its first large-scale fashion memorial exhibition "Once upon a time..." from October 15 to October 23 at the Exhibition Hall on the 6th floor of Eslite Xinyi Store. The event invites 14 international design masters represented by the brand to collaborate on joint creations. This exhibition also marks the first time in Taiwan’s lifestyle retail history that a concept store has partnered with multiple international designers to exhibit collaborative artworks.

The exhibition theme "Once upon a time..." is divided into two sections: “Black & White” and “Colorful Fairy Tales,” aiming to take visitors on a magical and mysterious fashion journey. The “Black & White” section features limited-edition luggage co-designed by Japanese streetwear icon mastermind JAPAN and CLUB DESIGNER, a lace crystal chandelier and mirror by Erickson Beamon – a favorite brand of Lady Gaga, a dark baroque-style custom-made mermaid gown by avant-garde brand Thomas Wylde, and an indigo chiffon dress by Taiwanese designer Jason Wu that combines strength and elegance.

The “Colorful Fairy Tales” section includes a one-of-a-kind egg-shaped armchair specially commissioned by the late fashion genius Alexander McQueen for CLUB DESIGNER, the C5 world installation artwork created by jewelry master Philippe Audibert using various fabrics and Swarovski crystals, a Persian-style crown by Luis Morias, an African tribal-style gemstone necklace by Tom Binns – a favorite brand of U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama, a 60th-anniversary custom commemorative shoe model by Repetto – the brand beloved by ballet lovers making its first appearance in Taiwan, an antique cloak known as the “Heart of the Queen” by fashion favorite Clements Ribeiro, and an embroidered armchair by rising designer brand Erdem. Nearly 20 outstanding works by master designers are exclusively presented at this exhibition.
