Take the “Taiwan Good to Go” bus to Taitung and get local agricultural specialties for free

As autumn approaches, Taitung County Government has launched the Taiwan Good to Go “NT$160” transportation pass, “NT$299” travel package, and the “Taiwan Good to Go Taitung Travel Passport.” In addition, it is offering numerous great deals, giving away seasonal agricultural and fishery delicacies (such as qíqiu melons, roselle, swordfish, and custard apples) as gifts to attract tourists to explore Taitung’s mountain and sea beauty in an eco-friendly way during the autumn season.

The “NT$160” transportation pass includes one ticket each for the Taiwan Good to Go “Central Mountain Valley Luyeh Line” and the “Urban Coastal Line.” With this pass, you can get on and off the bus as many times as you like within the same day. The transportation pass can be purchased at the sales windows of Dingdong Bus Mountain Line and Dingdong Bus Coastal Line. The “NT$299” travel package includes the “NT$160” transportation pass and offers a choice of two out of four great bonuses: a redemption voucher for a grass sliding experience at Luyeh Highlands Grass Sled Field (worth NT$100), a ticket voucher for Luyeh Ranch (worth NT$100), a bike voucher for Macapahi (worth NT$100), and a ticket voucher for the National Museum of Prehistory (worth NT$80). You can choose any two of these four items.

In addition, to encourage more people to visit Taitung, the county has introduced several attractive deals. During the promotional period from October 1 to December 31, groups of 10 or more who come to Taitung to cycle can exchange their vouchers for a box of custard apples or equivalent local agricultural products at the Old Railway Station Travel Service Center. Travelers who check in at hotels along the Central Mountain Valley Line (Luyeh, Guanshan, Chihshang) will receive a pack of premium Central Mountain Valley rice. Furthermore, from November 15 to December 31, guests staying at partner accommodations in hot spring areas (Green Island, Zhiben) that offer exclusive packages under this campaign can register on the event website. Once successfully registered, visitors will receive a gift box of oranges on the day of their stay.
