The route of the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Cihu Line has long been a popular dating and sightseeing itinerary in Taoyuan. During the glorious month of October, couples whose combined ages exceed 100 years old can enjoy a buy-one-get-one-free offer when riding the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Cihu Line.

In recent years, the opening of Houshihu and the Little YuLai Skywalk has made this tourist route even more popular, ranking as the hottest in Taoyuan. Coinciding with the centennial of the founding of the Republic of China and the Double Ninth Festival, Taoyuan County Government launched the “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle: Witness a Century of Love – A Mini Honeymoon in Taoyuan for One Day.” Couples whose combined ages, as shown on their ID cards, reach 100 years or more can enjoy a buy-one-get-one-free ticket package when riding the shuttle during the entire month of October 2011.

Additionally, the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Cihu Line offers three great deals: from now until the end of October, fans who join the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Cihu Line fan group can participate in a lucky draw for free ticket packages; those who purchase the “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Cihu Line Ticket Package” have a chance to win accommodation or meal vouchers worth NT$3,000–5,000 in the Taoyuan area; and finally, the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Experts Guiding Contest will select the top three experts, with the first-place winner receiving a cash prize of NT$10,000.
