Disney Starts the Festivities: Transforms into a Magical Christmas Village Starting Today

The joyful and festive Christmas season is just around the corner next month. Tokyo Disney Resort has officially kicked off its 49-day special Christmas celebration from today (the 8th). Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea, and Disney hotels will each present exciting activities that will continue until December 25.

Tokyo Disneyland will host a special event titled “Christmas Fantasy,” themed around the “Disney Christmas Village.” The area in front of Cinderella Castle’s parade ring will be decorated as Santa Claus’s village, while Disney-style Christmas decorations will appear throughout the park, creating a one-of-a-kind festive world. A brand-new parade performance, “The Disney Christmas Village Parade,” will make its grand debut along the parade route. Each Christmas-themed float will depict Disney characters and residents of the Christmas Village celebrating the holiday together.

Tokyo DisneySea, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, will hold a special event called “Christmas Wishes,” showcasing seven distinct styles of harbor Christmas celebrations. A new welcome show, “Rainbow Ribbon Christmas Welcome,” will make its exciting debut on Ritto Island. In the performance, Disney characters from seven themed harbors will present lively dance routines and celebrate the arrival of Christmas together with guests.
