The Tainan Pavilion at the Taichung Travel Fair Offers Accommodation Vouchers & Salt Country Itineraries

Following the Taipei Travel Fair, which attracted huge crowds, the 2011 Taiwan Autumn Travel Fair in Taichung kicked off today and runs until November 28 (Monday) at the Taichung World Trade Center. The Tainan City Government has also set up a theme pavilion at this fair, with its pavilion design incorporating elements of the Nan-Kun-Sheng Temple, Tainan Confucius Temple, and Chihkan Tower, showcasing Tainan’s historic landmarks. The pavilion also offers many great deals — spend over NT$1,000 in the pavilion to enter a lucky draw with 100 prizes available, including accommodation vouchers from the Sinya Taroko Resort, Dynasty Hotel, and Cambridge Hotel, the “Salt Country Happy 999 Travel Itinerary,” as well as tickets to the Maola Mare and Shigu Cultural Village.

In addition, visitors who collect stamps with the DM and successfully complete challenges at the Tainan Theme Pavilion will receive a special discount gift bag from the Dynasty Hotel. Those who check in at the main stage of the pavilion using their smartphones and share successfully can redeem a limited-edition eco-friendly cup at the service desk. Food is also a highlight of Tainan tourism, and the exhibition features offerings such as Zhangcheng Maltose Cake, Prince Sesame Brittle, and Four Fragrant Pork.
