The predecessor of Donggang Xiuchuan Hot Spring Resort was Ruisui Spring Hot Spring, covering an area of four hectares. "Donggang" refers to the eastern rugged mountains, and "Xiuchuan" refers to the Xiuguluan River. Both the main building and the hot spring cabins feature a Japanese-style design.
