Andy Lau and Lin Chi-ling to film "Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains" in Dubai

International movie stars Andy Lau and Lin Chi-ling, rising film star Zhang Jingchu, director John Woo Sun Jianjun, and Robert Francis Brown will shoot scenes for the film "Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains" in Dubai. This stylish action film has received strong support from the Dubai Government Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing. Key filming locations include the luxury resort Atlantis, The Palm, as well as other iconic Dubai landmarks such as Burj Al Arab and Burj Khalifa. The movie will be filmed across five countries and six cities, including Dubai, Hangzhou, Fuyang, Taipei, Tokyo, and Milan.

With a production budget exceeding 100 million RMB, "Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains" is not only the largest investment project in the history of Chinese cinema, but also the first major Chinese film primarily produced outside of China. The story is inspired by the Yuan Dynasty masterpiece painting "Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains," and unfolds a modern legend involving life-and-death struggles, clashes between good and evil, and the tangled emotions of heroes and heroines.

The lead actors Andy Lau, Lin Chi-ling, and Zhang Jingchu all said: “Our schedule is very tight, and we often have to shoot day and night. But the high-tech and exotic environments give us a vacation-like feeling.”

Director John Woo Sun Jianjun said: “Dubai is the only city in the world that can offer this film a ‘real dream.’ Its wealth and luxury also represent extreme modern elements. I hope this production can redefine the visual experience of Chinese cinema.” He hopes that "Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains" will set a benchmark for mainstream Chinese film production today and become a visual milestone for contemporary Chinese fashion films.
