Starting March 15, China Airlines offers SkyPriority SkyTeam Elite services fleetwide

China Airlines, a member of the SkyTeam alliance, will offer SkyPriority services fleetwide starting March 15, 2012. The first airports to implement SkyPriority include Taipei, Shanghai, Amsterdam, Atlanta, Guangzhou, and Nairobi; it is expected that over 1,000 airports will adopt the service by early 2013.

The SkyPriority program offers a range of exclusive airport privileges designed for top-tier global travelers. Regardless of airline or frequent flyer program, all Super Elite, First Class, and Business Class passengers can enjoy priority check-in, baggage drop-off, boarding, transfers, and luggage collection services consistently provided by all member airlines. These services are marked clearly with “SkyPriority” signage at airports worldwide. Eligible passengers will also see the “SkyPriority” label on their boarding passes, which will be integrated into each member airline’s existing identification systems, allowing travelers to easily locate SkyPriority services at any airport.

SkyTeam currently has 15 member airlines, including China Airlines, Aeromexico, Air Europa, Air France, Delta, Korean Air, ITA Airways, Czech Airlines, TAROM, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Rossiya Airlines, China Southern, China Eastern, Vietnam Airlines, and Kenya Airways. Passengers flying with any of these member airlines can check in once and transfer to other alliance flights, with miles that can be combined and redeemed. Business and First Class members can also access 415 airport lounges worldwide.
