Lion Travel and Regent Hotels jointly launch medical beauty & health check travel packages

Lion Travel Group and Regent International Hotel Group officially announced today (Feb. 7) that they will collaborate to launch three luxury medical beauty and health check travel packages themed around “Healthy Taiwan.” The entire trip will be hosted at Regent Taipei, Regent Lancheng, and Regent Taroko hotels. The packages combine premium health check-ups with golf, photo sessions, and shopping experiences, while also offering health secretaries and shopping butlers — highlighting a high-quality and enriched medical tourism experience.

The three packages include the “Rising Star 3-Day Tour,” the “Golf Star 3-Day Tour,” and the “One-Day Health & Beauty Trip.” For the “Rising Star 3-Day Tour,” travelers can choose itineraries based in Taipei, Yilan, or Hualien. The “Golf Star 3-Day Tour” and “One-Day Health & Beauty Trip” are currently focused mainly on Taipei.

Lion Travel Group’s healthcare division, Xinglin Medical, has also dispatched health secretaries with radiologic technologist and professional nursing licenses to provide pre-trip health consultations. Together with Alexandra Aesthetic Clinic, Yongyue Health Check Center, Kanglian Health Check Center (affiliated with Foxconn), and Shin Kong Hospital, they have co-designed exclusive treatment programs. The Regent hotel group has curated a variety of Taiwan-grown wellness meal sets to support the dietary health of guests. For female guests staying in Taipei, private shopping butler services are available, offering exclusive shopping tours and VIP discounts.

Since January this year, when the Department of Health announced approval for mainland Chinese tourists to visit Taiwan for health check and medical beauty purposes, a wave of medical tourism is expected. Yen Tzu-chin, General Manager of Lion Travel Group’s International Medical Service Center, said: “Currently, the most inquired-about medical beauty treatments by mainland tourists are, in order: laser whitening and skin rejuvenation plus eye wrinkle removal, Fire&Ice premium skincare treatment, gold growth factor rejuvenation (PRP), radiofrequency skin tightening, and 3D liquid lifting (baby face injections). Lion Travel can customize itineraries based on different client needs.”

The first launched “Lion & Regent Healthy Taiwan Mainland China Program” starts at RMB 19,900 to 23,600, with group sizes of 10–15 people. For cities eligible for independent travel, the package is open to groups as small as two people. Taiwanese citizens or other international travelers interested in these luxury medical beauty packages can also sign up.
