These gatherings serve to strengthen bonds, promote fitness, and celebrate tradition through troupe practice.

After the “mutual visits,” the people of Neimen will welcome the birthday of Guanyin Bodhisattva (the 19th day of the second lunar month, which falls on March 10 this year) with traditional performance troupes — a long-standing custom in the area. Neimen’s performing arts culture is thriving, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors and worshippers every year.
