Starting March 25, 2012, Transavia Netherlands will operate non-stop flights between Amsterdam and Taipei, without a layover in Bangkok; daily direct flights between Amsterdam and Bangkok will also continue to be available. The Keukenhof Flower Exhibition in the Netherlands will take place from March 22 to May 20. With a history of over 60 years, the flower exhibition was also selected by CNN as one of the must-visit destinations in 2012 at the end of last year. With KLM’s direct flights to Amsterdam, now is the perfect time to visit the Netherlands for the flowers this year！

For over 20 years, Transavia Netherlands flights from Amsterdam to Taipei had to make a stopover in Bangkok. Starting March 25, direct flights will be available from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to Taipei Taoyuan Airport, reducing the flight time by approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes. After stopping in Taipei, the flight will continue to Manila, Philippines. Transavia Netherlands is also the first European airline to offer direct flights from Taiwan to Europe without any layovers.

The Keukenhof Flower Exhibition, which will open on March 22, is located between Amsterdam and The Hague and is one of Europe’s renowned events. Up to seven million flowers will bloom competitively in the 80-acre garden. This year, the adult admission fee is €14.5 and the child fare is €7. After arriving at Schiphol Airport, visitors can take bus No. 58 to travel to and from the Keukenhof Gardens, with a bus running every 15 minutes.
