Welcoming the International Orchid Exhibition: Tainan Launches Exclusive Tours and Accommodation Discounts

The 2012 Taiwan International Orchid Exhibition opens tomorrow (March 3) and runs through March 12. During the exhibition, Tainan’s Tourism Bureau has launched a one-day “Orchid Exhibition Mountain and Sea Love Tour” for NT$1,299 and a two-day tour for NT$2,088. The itinerary connects the International Orchid Exhibition, Shuishepi Reservoir, Xinhua Old Street, Anping, Beimen’s Jingzijiao Tile Clay Salt Fields, and Nankunshen Daitian Temple; in addition, 38 local hotels are offering special orchid exhibition packages, including one-night stays with two meals, 55% off accommodation with an orchid exhibition ticket, and a two-person package starting at NT$1,588, among other deals.

The Taiwan International Orchid Exhibition tour packages run from March 3 to 12, divided into the Siraya Line: Orchid Exhibition, Shuishepi Reservoir, Xinhua Old Street, and the West Coast Line: Orchid Exhibition, Beimen Blackfoot Disease Memorial Hall, Yunlin–Chiayi–Tainan Scenic Area Administration, Nankunshen Giant Kun Garden, and Jingzijiao Tile Clay Salt Fields. The two-day tour (excluding accommodation) is NT$2,088 per person, with four itinerary options available, including Guanziling or Jiangnan Resort + Orchid Exhibition + Siraya Scenic Area 2-Day Tour, Guanziling or Jiangnan Resort + Orchid Exhibition + West Coast 2-Day Tour, as well as Orchid Exhibition + Shuishepi + Xinhua Old Street 2-Day Tour and Orchid Exhibition + West Coast 2-Day Tour.
