Travel across Europe by train for free！Explorer selection makes university students' dreams come true

Traveling across Europe by train is a dream for many. The second “European Train Explorers Selection” event, organized by Feida Travel specifically for college and university students, is about to begin. Last year, nearly 500 university students participated in the selection. This year, the winners will receive round-trip Taipei–Europe flight tickets and a Eurail Global Pass covering 23 European countries, with sponsorship worth approximately NT$100,000.

The selection event consists of four main stages: a train exploration seminar, submission of a European train exploration proposal, an online voting session, and interviews. Unlike the first edition, to encourage more students to join, attending the first-stage seminar is no longer a mandatory requirement this year. Anyone interested in participating can learn how to plan a self-guided European trip through the event website, and then submit their European train exploration proposal online during the designated period (4/16–5/1). The organizers and preliminary judges will select 15 outstanding travel proposals to advance to the final stage of online voting and interviews, from which three will be chosen as this year’s European Train Explorers.

On March 24, a seminar will be held in Lecture Hall 201 of the Education Building at National Taiwan Normal University’s Extension Education Institute. Last year’s winners will be invited to share their competition and itinerary planning experiences, giving this year’s participants the chance to exchange ideas face-to-face.
