What activity lets you enjoy the double excitement of a roller coaster and a water slide? It’s the Zorb air ball ride!* And now, you don’t have to go to New Zealand—you can have this heart-pounding, scream-inducing experience in Guam as well!*

The Leo Palace Resort in Guam is a new overseas site established by New Zealand’s Zorb company in January 2012. It offers “Double Dippers,” featuring two unique types of rides with both Zydro and Zorbit tracks for visitors to roll to their hearts' content. The attraction is open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM, year-round.

First, you’ll step into a smooth, 3.6-meter-high sphere, then choose one of two specially designed tracks—the Zydro or the Zorbit. Next, the giant ball is pushed and rolls down your chosen track from a height of 213 meters. For those with a strong heart or a craving for extreme thrills, you can even opt to add water inside the sphere and ride the Zydro track, enjoying both sliding and spinning all in one go. What’s more, up to three people can ride in one sphere at a time, making it perfect for a fun outing with friends.

The other dry-track option, the Zorbit, is dubbed the “astronaut training” ride. Riders are securely strapped in before being flipped upside down and sent tumbling head over heels until coming to a stop on the ground.

The Zorb family has been operating a site in Rotorua, New Zealand, since 1995, attracting over 50,000 visitors each year who come to experience the ultimate thrill of the Zorb balloon. The cost of riding the Zorb in Guam varies depending on the number of riders and the type of ride, ranging from about $24 to $72 USD. Riders must be at least 8 years old.
