Currently in the peak season for phoenix tree blossom viewing, Miaoli County's "2012 Spring Tour of the Mountain City 'Nonstop Performances'" cultural event, which kicked off on the 14th, will continue on April 27–28 and May 5–6. It is expected to draw over 40,000 visitors to the Miaoli County Stadium each day. To alleviate surrounding traffic, shuttle buses will be available for passengers boarding in front of Guishan Bridge, at the Jinguo Road Parking Lot, and at Miaoli Railway Station. Additionally, traffic control will be implemented around the stadium starting at 4:00 PM on event days to help ease pedestrian and vehicle congestion.

The shuttle buses are divided into arrival and departure services. The arrival shuttle runs from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM and includes the “Red Line” from Guishan Bridge to Touwu Bridge, the “Blue Line” from Beishi Bridge to Touwu Bridge, and the “Orange Line” from Miaoli Veterans Hospital to Miaoli Railway Station. The departure shuttle service begins at 9:30 PM and continues until the crowds disperse. For the departure service, the Red Line will pick up passengers at the intersection of Highway 562 Lane, the Blue Line at a point 30 meters north of the Jinguo Road Parking Lot, and the Orange Line next to the bus stop at the entrance of Miaoli Veterans Hospital.

Traffic control will be in effect from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM on April 27–28 and May 5–6. Drivers can park at the north parking lot of Miaoli County Stadium, along Old Jinguo Road, at the Model Airport, or on the shoulders of both sides of Jinguo Road. Motorcyclists can park on the pedestrian brick path south of the intersection of Jinguo Road and Highway 562 Lane, as well as on the pedestrian brick path north of the stadium’s north parking lot.

During performances, heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic is expected around Miaoli County Stadium, so the public is encouraged to use the shuttle buses to help reduce congestion. (Photo provided by Miaoli County Government International Cultural and Tourism Bureau)

The "2012 Spring Tour of the Mountain City – Nonstop Performances" cultural event will feature the Belgian piano maestro Jean-François Maljean performing alongside Yoga Lin, Huang Xiaobo, and Lollipop F in the "Listen: Crossover Music Concert" on April 27–28, as well as a "Savor: Japanese-Taiwanese Ballad Concert" with Kousuke Atari and Van Fan from the movie "Cape No. 7." On May 5–6, there will be a "Sing: Classic Concert" starring Jay Chou, Richie Jen, and Huang Pin-yuan, along with a grand finale "HIGH: Idol Dance & Sing Concert" featuring Jolin Tsai, Evan Yo, Ko Yo Lien, and others. The public is encouraged to use the shuttle buses to save travel time.
