The “2012 Taiwan International Tourism Festival” will take place from April 28 to May 1, daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Yuanshan Blooming Exhibition Hall in Taipei City. To address the recent rise in prices of oil, electricity, and daily necessities, the exhibition area has specially planned an “Anti-Inflation Package,” offering great-value travel itineraries so that no matter how tough life gets, you can still enjoy travel. Moreover, the organizing committee has introduced a triple bonus gift: the first 100 visitors each day will receive one tumbler and one bottle of Guang Quan series milk tea (limit one exchange per person per day); shoppers spending over NT$3,000 on-site can participate in an instant draw to win a chance to take home a NT$10,000 accommodation voucher on the spot; and those with a NT$3,000 purchase receipt can exchange it for one lottery ticket to win major prizes such as a 55T LCD TV, iPhone 4s, a NT$10,000 pearl necklace from Dadongshan, or a day trip to Jiǎnliàn.

The event also gives the public a chance to vote for their favorite photos and win gifts. Anyone holding any type of ticket stub from the “2012 Taiwan International Tourism Festival” can exchange it for one lottery ticket at the gift booth. After filling out basic information and writing their preferred photo number on the back, they can drop it into the dedicated voting box (entries with incomplete information will not be counted). Lucky participants may win domestic accommodation vouchers or attraction tickets.
