Fly with China Airlines from Hong Kong, Osaka, or Frankfurt—boarding in just 3 seconds

Every time you fly abroad, long queues at boarding usually take up quite a bit of time. Starting from the end of March, China Airlines has gradually introduced the "e-Boarding Pass" service at Hong Kong, Frankfurt, and Kansai International Airport in Osaka. By using China Airlines’ website or the CI Mobile APP on Apple’s iOS platform, you can complete all check-in procedures in one go, reducing the waiting time typically required for regular boarding processes. Boarding gate formalities can be completed in just 3 seconds.

Following other e-services such as "pre-check-in" (e-Check In), "self-print boarding pass," "airport self-service check-in" (KIOSK), and "self-print baggage tag," China Airlines has launched its new e-Boarding Pass service at the end of March at Hong Kong, Frankfurt, and Kansai International Airport in Osaka. Passengers departing from airports where the new service applies can complete online pre-check-in, seat selection, and other procedures 3 to 24 hours before departure, and then download the "e-Boarding Pass" via mobile email or the CI Mobile APP.

Passengers without checked baggage can even proceed directly to the boarding gate after arriving at the airport by presenting their e-Boarding Pass for ID and security checks. At the boarding gate, it only takes 2–3 seconds to scan the barcode displayed on your phone using the scanner for quick boarding.
