AirAsia’s Million Ultra-Low-Cost Air Tickets Go on Limited-Time Sale Starting Today

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, AirAsia has not only unveiled a new circular corporate logo but also relaunched its Big Sale promotion. The promotion offers 1 million discounted tickets across all group-operated routes and destinations, including those of AirAsia and AirAsia X (AirAsia’s long-haul carrier). Customers can snap up these deals from now until May 20 via the official AirAsia website.

To ensure smoother operation of the ticket booking system and make it more convenient for travelers to select their preferred flights, AirAsia will adopt a staggered booking approach for this online promotion. This means that booking times for domestic Malaysian flights and international flights will be separated to allow consumers to complete their bookings more efficiently. From now until May 20, travelers can purchase domestic Malaysian flight tickets through the AirAsia official website. One-way domestic tickets start as low as NT$216 including taxes and fees, with passengers only needing to pay airport tax and fuel surcharges.

For international routes, the AirAsia promotion period runs from May 16 to May 20. One-way tickets from Taipei to Sabah start as low as NT$1,590 including taxes and fees, while those from Taipei to Kuala Lumpur start at just NT$3,000 including taxes and fees. Additionally, AirAsia X is joining the promotion, offering one-way fares from Taipei to Kuala Lumpur to Perth starting at NT$5,990 including taxes and fees, and from Taipei to Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne starting at NT$7,090 including taxes and fees. With this promotion, customers can book flights for travel between January 4, 2013, and May 22, 2013.
