The organic market at Jianguo Flower Market kicks off in June first

The “Organic Delights, Taipei’s Good Life” series of events organized by the Taipei City Government will run from June to October. In addition to selling fresh organic fruits and vegetables produced by local farmers in Taipei, the event also offers free DIY experiences, food tastings, and organic cooking classes, giving everyone more opportunities to engage with organic agriculture.

The “Organic Delights” event kicks off first at Jianguo Holiday Flower Market, with four events scheduled: “Eat Organic” on June 2–3, “Play Organic” on July 14–15, “Organic Drinks” on September 22–23, and “Organic is Awesome” on October 27–28. In addition to selling locally grown fresh produce cultivated by organic farmers guided by the Bureau of Industry, the series of sales events also features a variety of organic cooking demonstrations, moss ball potted plant workshops, tea tree mosquito repellent DIY experiences, goji herb tea bag DIY and tasting sessions, and a 1 NT dollar charity auction for organic fruit and vegetable home delivery boxes. Every Saturday in August, the “Good Organic Food” organic cooking class will be held at the Taipei Organic Fruit and Vegetable Demonstration Store in the Exhibition Hall, offering hands-on organic cooking lessons.
