Good Luck All Year Round: Flower Expo Dream Hall Egg-Balancing to Celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival

In traditional folklore, balancing an egg precisely at the noon of the Dragon Boat Festival brings good luck for the entire year. As this year's Dragon Boat Festival (the 23rd) also coincides with 70 days remaining until the countdown for the Dream Hall, the venue has specially organized the “Dream Egg-Balancing Dragon Boat Festival” event, inviting 70 visitors that day to take part. The activity will be held in front of the Dream Hall’s Jimmy Liao flower wall. On-site registration begins at 11:00, and the official event starts at 12:00, or until capacity is reached.

On Saturday, the Dragon Boat Festival, an “Egg-Shaped Money Box DIY” activity was also held outside the Future Pavilion (at the blue tent), inviting both adults and children to make their own money boxes together. Participants could take home the creations they made that day. Registration for the event began at 9:00 (registration desk located opposite the information booth at the ticket office of the Flower Expo Park’s Xinxing Park area), with only 20 spots available. Following the 100th-year Double Ten National Day special edition and the 101st-year Year of the Dragon special edition of the “Flower Dream Card,” the Dream Hall is once again launching a “Dragon Boat Festival Special Edition Flower Dream Card.” This is also the final limited-edition souvenir to be released by the Dream Hall as it counts down to its finale—featuring a golden dragon boat design to double your good fortune for the second half of the year. Starting June 15, all visitors to the Dream Hall will receive a Dragon Boat Festival-themed Flower Dream Card.

Additionally, from now until August 31, the Dream Hall is launching the “Surprise Scratch-Off Game: Take Your Dreams on a Trip” campaign. Visitors who come to the Dream Hall during this period will have the chance to participate in a fun scratch-off game to win limited-edition Flower Expo souvenirs, and even stand a chance to win the grand prize of a “Hong Kong–Taipei round-trip plane ticket for two!”
