Thailand Surprise Sale: Win a 30-Day Free Holiday with Qualifying Purchases

As summer heats up in Thailand, the 14th annual Surprise Sale kicks off today. Over the two-month event, an estimated 15,000 businesses across various industries including department stores, retail shops, duty-free outlets, hotels, and airlines will participate. Not only can shoppers enjoy discounts, but those who spend above a certain amount will also receive coupons and have the chance to win a “Charming Thailand 30-Day Holiday” through a lucky draw. The prize includes round-trip first-class flights, domestic flights to all included destinations within Thailand, and full accommodation and meals throughout the trip.

During the 14th Charming Thailand Surprise Sale, travelers can explore pedestrian shopping streets in major cities to experience Thai culture, such as “TERMINAL 21” on Sukhumvit Road, designed like an airport and themed around famous shopping streets from around the world; or “ROBINSON Rama 9” at the new Central Plaza Grand Rama 9 complex, which features over six floors of sale areas, each with its own unique modern and independent style. Additionally, “MEGABANGNA,” located just a 15-minute drive from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, is Southeast Asia’s largest low-rise super mall. Designed with the concept of “everything under one roof,” it also makes its debut to consumers during this sale.

During the event, customers who spend 500 Thai baht (approximately NT$488) or more in cash or with a Visa card at participating stores will receive 1–2 coupons each. Thai domestic travelers have the chance to win shopping vouchers worth 1 million Thai baht (approximately NT$976,800), while foreign consumers can enter to win the “Charming Thailand 30-Day Holiday” raffle. This grand prize includes one companion, a 30-day holiday in Thailand, round-trip first-class flights, domestic flights to all included destinations, transportation services, hotel accommodations, meals, admission to all attractions, Thai lifestyle and cultural experiences, and guided tours. Coupons will be drawn on September 20, and the winners will be announced on October 10 at www.tourismthailand.org/thailandgrandsale.
