Amusement Parks FUN Summer Vacation with Up to 44% Off

During the summer vacation, domestic amusement park operators have successively launched various discount promotions, including entry tickets, accommodation, and more. Among them, Yehliu Ocean World offers free admission for children under six years old (under 115 cm in height), Shangri-La Paradise offers one free entry for every two people with exam admission tickets, Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village combines with the One Piece theme event—tickets are 580 TWD and also include free access to the Sun Moon Lake Gondola, and Janfusun Fancyworld offers tickets after 2 PM for 399 TWD, up to 44% off. The Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has also partnered with amusement park operators to launch the “Buy One Get One Free Exclusive Discount Leaflet for Theme Parks Nationwide” from now until the end of the year, offering buy one get one free deals on select entry tickets or in-park merchandise. The public can collect these leaflets for free at Tourism Bureau service centers across the country.

In terms of ticket discounts, Tayal Resort offers buy one get one free on tickets during the “2012 Nantou Lotus Festival.” Dalu Guan Theme Park provides a 50% discount (200 TWD) on entry for residents of Pingtung County, students, children, those over 60, and people with disabilities. Miniature Land, Leofoo Village Theme Park, Doraemon Science Theme Park, Huoyanshan Amusement Area, Lihpao Land, Dongshi Forest Recreation Area, Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, Janfusun Fancyworld, and 8 Large Forest Park, as well as Ocean Park, offer various ticket discounts such as 44% off on afternoon tickets or starting from 61% off on full-price tickets. Additionally, Lihpao Land’s official website offers chances to win a SMART car, Jian Shan Pi Jiangnan Resort gives chances to win VILLA accommodation, and Wild Animal Kingdom gives away ice cream with ticket purchases.

In terms of accommodation discounts, West Lake Resort’s “Kids’ Fun West Lake Eco Summer Camp” starts at 2,199 TWD per person; Shanlinxi Forest Eco Resort’s themed guesthouses start at 3,280 TWD for one night with three meals; Jian Shan Pi Jiangnan Resort’s “Unleash Fun Vitality Midsummer” starts at 2,399 TWD plus 10% for two people; and Little Kenting Resort’s “Cooling-Off Special” starts at 5,088 TWD for two people, including an aquarium ticket.

Additionally, the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has partnered with amusement park operators to launch the limited-time “Buy One Get One Free Exclusive Discount Leaflet for Theme Parks Nationwide” from now until the end of the year. With the leaflet’s stub, you can enjoy buy one get one free deals on select entry tickets or in-park merchandise such as ice cream, takeaway cups, and afternoon tea. The discount leaflets are available for free at Tourism Bureau service centers nationwide, and detailed information can be found on the event website www.themeparks.net.tw.
