Free historical, cultural & ecological guided tours now open for applications on Guanyin Mountain Treetop Trail

Since its launch six months ago, the Treetop Trail in Guanyin Mountain Scenic Area has become hugely popular among visitors of all ages thanks to its captivating scenery, leading to a surge in visitor numbers. To offer visitors a relaxed yet enriching experience, the North Coast & Guanyin Mountain National Scenic Area Administration has launched a volunteer-guided tour service. Leveraging the scenic features of the Guanyin Mountain Ecological Park and Treetop Trail, combined with recent surveys on local flora and fauna, this initiative allows visitors to gain an in-depth understanding of the area’s landscapes and ecology through real-scene interpretation by volunteers.

The activity runs from this Saturday (the 28th) to October 28th, every Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 12 PM, offering a total of 30 free historical, cultural & ecological guided tours. The eco-tourism route takes participants from the Guanyin Mountain Visitor Center, passing through the Holy Mother of God Ecological Park, Treetop Trail, Kaishan Temple, and Lengyan Pavilion. Along the way, volunteer guides provide professional and engaging commentary, promoting ecotourism, heritage conservation, and cultural preservation. It serves as a great leisure option for families during the summer break. Applications can be submitted via the guided tour reservation website starting now. Additionally, those planning to visit can take the Taipei Metro to Luzhou Station, then transfer to Bus Orange 20 at Exit 1 to reach the Guanyin Mountain Visitor Center, with an estimated travel time of 25 minutes.
