One-day Themed Tour of Lukang Featuring Fresh Oysters & Winery Visits – NT$399 per Person

The HSR shuttle bus lines, offering easy access to major attractions, are highly popular. Lukang, listed among Taiwan’s Top Ten Small Tourist Towns, features distinctive local sites such as wineries, ecological areas, historical monuments, delicious food, and museums. From now until September 16, one-day themed in-depth tours will be available every Saturday and Sunday. There are five major routes and 14 sessions in total, taking visitors to explore Lukang Old Street, Erhlin Winery, Jinyang Ribbon Museum, and Wanggong Oyster Art Culture Museum, while also sampling local specialties like oyster fritters and wonton-style wontons. This themed tour includes one-day itineraries such as “Small-Town Charm & Big-City Treasures,” “Sea & Deer Exploration & Experiencing Hundred Arts,” “Family Fun & Educational Entertainment,” and “Wine Country Strolls & Fruit Fragrance.” There will be 14 sessions in total. Visitors can not only stroll through Lukang Old Street and experience the town’s unique vibe, but those joining the Small-Town Charm and Sea & Deer Exploration routes will also visit Dacheng Wetlands or Wanggong Oyster Art Culture Museum and the intertidal zone, reliving the old-fashioned fun of digging for clams and washing pants. Additionally, there will be fresh oyster meals and oyster-picking activities.

Travelers who choose the Family Fun or Wine Country Stroll routes can visit the Jinyang Ribbon Museum or the Taimingjiang Taiwan Glass Museum to appreciate the beauty of ribbon and glass art culture. Alternatively, they can head to Erhlin Township, known as the birthplace of wine brewing in Taiwan and home to the highest density of wineries on the island, to experience DIY grape-picking and brewing, as well as wine tasting. Moreover, the Taiwan HSR Lukang Line, which is expected to launch a ticket package in mid-August, will also hold a “One Deer, Play It All” lucky draw event.
