Ride with Lin Chi-ling to soak in the hot springs at the Jiaoxi Carnival

Taiwan’s renowned hot spring town and one of the top ten small tourist cities, Jiaoxi, is set to host a series of tourism carnival events on August 31. Over the three-day period, activities will include a NT$1 auction, lucky draws with receipts, a starry night fireworks show, as well as themed events such as Rock Beer Night, Youthful Dance Fantasy Night, and Romantic Hot Spring Night.Performances will be given by groups and artists including the Tianjue Band and Xie Jinyan.Local accommodation providers are also offering discounts of up to 55% off. Additionally, from now until August 25, those who visit the event’s official website and Facebook fan page, share the link, and recommend the “2012 Jiaoxi Small Tourist City Tourism Carnival” will be entered into a draw to win one of 20 spots to green-travel in Jiaoxi alongside event ambassador Lin Chi-ling.

This Jiaoxi Tourism Carnival, running from August 31 to September 2 over three consecutive days, will not only feature performances by musical acts such as the SCOTT & ABBIE Country Band, the Horseshoe Yang Rock Duo, the Five Grains Harvest Cultural Arts Troupe, the KAO!CHUN CHIN Band, Xie Jinyan, Huang Siting, Chen Mingzhang, Weng Liyou, and Wang Hong’en, but alsoincludea massive beer king competition, a NT$1 auction bonanza, receipt donation and check-in prize draws, and more, with a starry night fireworks show scheduled for 9:00 PM on September 1.
In addition, 74 local Jiaoxi businesses in the accommodation, dining, souvenir, and beauty sectors are offering various promotions, including gifts with qualifying purchases or discounts of 8–9.5%.
