Graduation trips by high-speed rail with fares as low as 40% off

Transportation costs for school group graduation tripsPlanningrequires organizers to repeatedly compare prices to strike a balance between cost and time. To this end, Taiwan High Speed Rail is offering a "Graduation Trip Group Special" from now until June 30, 2013. Any student group of 11 or more traveling on designated trains between Monday and Friday during the promotion period, and departing from and arriving at the same stations, can enjoy a 30% discount on full fare for standard class reserved seats for junior high school students and full-fare passengers. Elementary school students and those eligible for senior, child, or爱心 (compassion) ticket discounts can enjoy up to 40% off.

The "Graduation Trip Group Special" is now open for booking via fax. The promotion applies to departures between 7:00–9:00 AM and 4:00–6:00 PM on Mondays to Fridays on selected trains departing from Taipei Station or Zuoying Station, with 136 services available per week. The promotion does not apply during peak travel or winter vacation periods. Eligible participants are student groups of 11 or more traveling on designated trains in standard class reserved seats, with the same departure and arrival stations.mustbe the same.
