Students Only: Taiwan’s Theme Parks Are Recruiting Creative Players

The Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications is seeking travel enthusiasts at theme parks. From now until November 15, it is hosting the “Find the Travel Enthusiast – Theme Park Creative Players Competition,” which will widely recruit students to explore unique ways of experiencing theme parks and educational travel itineraries, offering both first-timers and returning visitors a brand-new experience.

The event is jointly organized by 19 premium theme parks across Taiwan. With just 1–3 photos and a 100–500-word description of creative play, participants have a chance to win major prizes. The competition offers a rich array of awards, including popular 3C products and convenience store gift vouchers. A unique special prize will also be awarded among participants, such as a diamond couple ring from 8 Great Forest Park, a free visit for an entire class to Little People's Kingdom Theme Park, an exclusive rhinoceros Nini feeding experience at Leofoo Village, and 50 tickets to Jianshanpi Jiangnan Resort. There are also individual-exclusive experiences, such as a one-day Chief Passport at Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, one day as Park Manager at Wild Animal World, and one day as an Andersen Expert at West Lake Resort. Additionally, benefits include an annual pass to Shanlinxi Forest Ecological Park, two annual passes to Dongshi Forest Recreation Area’s Phytoncide Card, a Shangri-La Amusement Park family annual pass, year-round weekday free admission to Yehliu Ocean World, a full year of free access to Yunxian Amusement Park, a SeaWorld double annual pass, and a Marble Bay Passport at Lihpao Land—all offering fun for the whole year. Moreover, Doraemon Theme Park, Little Kenting Resort, and Atayal Resort are giving away accommodation vouchers. The total value of all prizes exceeds NT$300,000.

In addition to the Creative Players Competition, the organizer has also added bonus activities on Facebook. By joining the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications’ “Travel Taiwan, It’s Now” Facebook fan page and leaving a comment on the event page, participants can enter a lucky draw. Prizes include theme park tickets, convenience store gift vouchers, popular 3C products, and a popularity award for those who upload photos to Facebook.
