Visit Theme Parks to Win Air Tickets – The Second Season of American Dream Vacations Kicks Off

The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) and Discover America jointly organize “My American Dream Vacation.” Following the first season’s “Shopping Spree,” the second season’s theme is “Theme Parks.” In addition to introducing major U.S. theme parks such as Disneyland, SeaWorld, Universal Studios, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Kings Dominion, Knott’s Berry Farm, and Hershey Park, the campaign continues the photography contest from the first season. By uploading photos taken at U.S. theme parks by you or your loved ones to the official website before December 15, you could win a round-trip air ticket between Taipei and the United States. Those who participate in the photo voting before December 25 also have a chance to win a round-trip air ticket between Taipei and the United States.

Florida’s world-famous Walt Disney World Resort, spanning 120 square kilometers — about the size of San Francisco — features four major theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom, as well as two water parks: Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach. It also includes over 20 hotels operated by Disney. The resort focuses on family vacations, allowing guests of all ages to sail with cartoon characters, enjoy delicious meals, and watch spectacular fireworks shows. Also located in Florida, Universal Studios lets visitors explore the behind-the-scenes world of Hollywood filmmaking, including stunts, pyrotechnics, and explosions. SeaWorld, themed around nature and marine life, showcases rare sea creatures and offers spectacular stage performances. Visitors can also feed animals such as sea lions, seals, and penguins. Six Flags Magic Mountain, targeting teenagers, features numerous thrilling rides that challenge physical limits, attracting large numbers of young visitors from across the U.S. every year.

Now in its second year, “My American Dream Vacation” features four major themes: Shopping, Theme Parks, Sports & Competitions, and National Parks. Each season hosts a separate photography contest. Participants simply need to upload photos (under 3MB) taken in the U.S. that match the theme, along with a caption of no more than 140 words, to the “My American Dream Vacation” website. The grand prize winners of the photography contest and participants in the voting process both have a chance to win a round-trip air ticket between Taipei and the United States.
