The Taipei International Travel Fair (ITF) will kick off tomorrow (26th), opening to the public after 12:00 noon and running until 19:00 on the 29th. This year, there are 60 countries and 850 travel agencies exhibiting over 1,000 booths simultaneously at World Trade Center Hall 1 and Hall 3. Over the four days of the event, the organizers will give away two Yulon Cubi cars, 28 airline tickets, and 8,000 lucky bags — the richest prize pool in the fair’s history. Airlines are offering promotions including China Airlines’ “Hong Kong Visa-Free Package,” with a 3-day, 2-night Hong Kong trip starting from NT$6,088, and a 3-day Hong Kong Disneyland & Hollywood tour from NT$7,999 (tax excluded), including a double-decker convertible night tour and an all-day MTR pass. Japan Airlines is offering early-bird economy class fares for Taipei–U.S. routes starting from NT$18,500, 5-day, 3-night Hawaii free-and-easy trips from NT$27,900, ultra-discounted Tokyo 2-day, 1-night flight-and-hotel packages from NT$8,788, and Yokohama 3-day, 2-night free-and-easy trips from just NT$11,688. EVA Air’s festive Guam 5-day tour is available at a limited promotional price starting from NT$17,888. TransAsia Airways is offering round-trip flights between Taipei and Naha, Okinawa, starting from NT$4,888, and special discount round-trip flights to Osaka from NT$7,888. Korean Air’s Jin Air is also running a limited-time flash sale on round-trip flights between Taipei Songshan and Seoul Gimpo for just NT$1,000.

For long-haul destinations, ezfly (EasyFly) is offering a limited-time group package to the Czech Republic for 10 days, with the first 15 people each day getting an all-inclusive price starting from NT$49,900; Chan Star Travel’s 11-day in-depth tour of Spain’s royal palaces, architecture, leisure, and cuisine is priced from NT$40,920, with a “bring a friend” discount of NT$6,000 for the second person, plus an additional NT$5,000 discount per person at the expo; Cola Travel is offering pre-holiday golden seat deals with up to NT$3,000 off; the Holland America Line’s Glacier Bay National Park Alaska cruise itinerary for 11 days is available at the ITF for NT$119,900; Five Star Tours’ Paris Secrets 10-day trip is from NT$69,900, with NT$6,000 off for the second traveler. The Travel Expo at World Trade Center Hall 3 brings together over 200 hotels, hot springs, motels, homestays, and farms from across Taiwan. Discounts on five-star hotel stay vouchers are widespread, with the Kaohsiung Gold Class Causeway Bay Suite voucher at a super-low NT$3,999 — about 1.8 discounts off; Taipei Caesar Park’s newly launched refined room type is 2.3 discounts off, available for NT$2,999 on weekdays and NT$3,399 on holidays, limited to 150 rooms; Kaohsiung Grand Hotel’s weekday city-view room vouchers come with a free upgrade to lake-view rooms, each including two premium cream puffs from the hotel, at a discounted price of NT$2,000, down from the original NT$7,150 — about 2.7 discounts off.
