Located in Jukkasjärvi in northern Sweden, the ice hotel is built entirely from ice — including its architecture, interior design, and furniture. It is crafted from naturally formed ice layers and snow, manually assembled. Beyond admiring the extraordinary craftsmanship, you can also fully feel the power of nature.

When summer comes and the snow melts, the hotel naturally disappears. It is rebuilt the following winter once the ice has reformed, so each year’s design is unique, created by top-tier artists. Since 1989, Jukkasjärvi has been home to ice art, gradually evolving into this distinctive form of accommodation.
