Composed of farmers, livestock breeders, and nutritionists, the “Health Bank” has brought an innovative concept market-style restaurant to Taipei’s Breeze Center. It's a restaurant closest to the market—direct-from-source ingredients, cooked on-site, and served immediately, ensuring freshness with zero time lag. Initially set up in Taichung’s Green Avenue to help organic farmers solve production and sales problems, the “Health Bank” established a farmer-friendly sales platform, aiming to return profits to the growers. To bring consumers closer to their food sources, it also opened a fresh restaurant centered around ingredients, with a concept of awakening to natural flavors—letting diners experience that good ingredients don’t need excessive cooking, and that natural taste is the joy of deliciousness.

The Health Bank has been cultivating organic crops for seven years. This time, in partnership with Taiwan’s largest animal feed additive company, Xiangpu Enterprise, it has jointly launched the safe ingredient brand “Good Food, Well Researched,” offering pork without ractopamine, Taiwanese lamb, and safe livestock products. Xiangpu Enterprise Chairman Wu Kunmin noted: “Good ingredients mean tracing their origins and examining whether their cultivation is land-friendly and whether the animals are humanely raised. We refuse to sell fish caught by drift nets or trawlers, focusing instead on line-caught or longline-caught fish.” Regarding his father Wu Kunmin opening a new restaurant in Taipei, Wu Jijang specially returned to Taiwan this time to support Taiwanese agriculture.

The newly opened Taipei branch of the Health Bank offers diners a delightful gourmet experience. It uses premium million-dollar chef kitchen appliances from Sweden’s Electrolux, distributed by Taiwan’s Sakura, and has invited top domestic custom KII kitchenware designer Director Chen to build a set of open-plan, smoke-free kitchen equipment. The store also pledges to donate 10% of its proceeds on the 3rd of every month, along with proceeds from charity sales at the Taipei 101 Green Living Market, to support the Taipei North Rotary Club in helping children in New Taipei City who cannot afford school lunches pay for a semester’s worth of meals—estimated to benefit 400 children.
