Wai Wu Thai Group’s New Chinese Cuisine Brand “Shi Shi Xiang” Officially Opens; First Outlet Opens in Taichung

The sixth new brand of Wai Wu Thai Group, “Shi Shi Xiang RICE BAR,” made its debut on January 25. Its first outlet is located on the 9th floor of the New Taipei City branch of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi in Taichung, adding another dining option to the mall. Shi Shi Xiang centers around rice culture, bringing together popular Chinese dishes and exclusive recipes, allowing diners to enjoy a variety of “cross-cuisine Chinese flavors” in one meal.

The cross-cuisine Chinese menu at Shi Shi Xiang RICE BAR includes the “3.5 Cup Chicken” made with boneless chicken thigh, the crispy and flavorful “Invincible Crispy Fish,” the upgraded classic Sichuan dish “Super Mapo Tofu,” the hearty and juicy “Overlord Sugarcane Prawns,” the refreshing and sweet “Peel-Chili Stewed Tender Chicken,” as well as “Stir-Fried Beef with Chili,” “Oriental Feta with Water Spinach,” “Super Mapo Tofu,” and “Grandma’s Braised Pork.”

Shi Shi Xiang RICE BAR also offers customers a selection of premium rice varieties. During the opening period, in addition to the carefully selected “Koshihikari Rice” and the high-fiber, nutritious “Golden Treasure” tri-color sweet potato rice, there is also the highly nutritious “Red Quinoa,” known as the “red gem of grains,” available for customers to choose from.
