The 2012 Taipei International Beef Noodle Festival — “Taipei’s Pride Beef Noodle Carnival” will be held for two consecutive days from December 1 to 2, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily at the Long Corridor Plaza of the Taipei Flower Expo Yuanshan Park. A variety of beef noodle flavors including braised, stewed, and tomato will be available; the most anticipated part of this two-day event is the on-site sale of super-value beef noodles “for just 50 NT per bowl,” featuring the newly crowned “2012 Taipei Beef Noodle Broth Top Shops” as well as past acclaimed eateries. With over 20 stalls participating, you can sample the most delicious beef noodles in Taipei with just a single coin (50 NT)!

The most highly anticipated “Beef Noodle Cooking King Finals” will feature 8 contestants in each of the three categories: “Stewed,” “Braised,” and “Creative Rice Dish.” These contestants will compete live at the carnival over the two days. Additionally, the first 100 attendees at the carnival opening on December 1 will receive a complimentary bowl of delicious, aromatic beef noodles. Moreover, this year features a specially curated “Champion Beef Noodles Zone,” where past competition-winning beef noodle chefs are invited “back home” to sell their award-winning creations on-site. Limited in quantity but not in price, with 200 portions available each day, allowing the public to once again savor the legendary skills of these renowned chefs and shops.

 

In addition, the Dream Gallery, which has enjoyed immense popularity at the Flower Expo and attracted visitors who queued overnight to enter, will continue operations until December 31 of this year. Starting January 1, 2013, it will officially close, and ticket sales for the Dream Gallery will be suspended during the closure period.
