Kaohsiung Citytour Spring Festival Itinerary – Enjoy a Full Day of Fun for Just NT$399

With a month-long winter vacation and a nine-day Lunar New Year holiday, many people are carefully planning to make their break fulfilling and memorable. From now until the Lunar New Year holiday period, the Kaohsiung City Government Tourism Bureau is launching a NT$399 Kaohsiung City Tour featuring three one-day tour themes: “Marine Culture,” “Wetland Ecology,” and “Flower Blossom World.” Tours can be arranged for groups of 20 or more. For individual travelers or families on self-guided tours staying in Kaohsiung with fewer than 20 people, from February 16 to June 28, as long as they book three days in advance and present proof of hotel accommodation, they can also join a half-day paid tour provided by the Kaohsiung City Tour Guide Association during their stay, along with free guided services.

This time, the three themed itineraries will take participants to the Qianzhen Fishing Port, experience a cuttlefish roe sightseeing factory, enjoy an educational trip to the Native Plant Garden, explore cultural and creative experiences in the Pier-2 Art Center, and engage in cultural activities at Meinong Folk Village and the Hakka Cultural Museum. In addition, starting from February 16, individual travelers or small families with fewer than 20 people can also join a half-day tour organized by the Kaohsiung City Tour Guide Association. Attractions include visiting the world-class glass art installation by Lino Tagliapietra—“The Dome of Light” public art piece, and the century-old Takao Railway Station.

Currently, the “Wetland Ecology” tour on January 26, the “Flower Blossom World” tours on January 27, February 13, and February 16, and the “Marine Culture” tour on March 2 are open for registration, with a minimum group size of 20.
