Kaohsiung City promotes nighttime tourism—enjoy discounts with the "Night Owl Handbook"

Before the Lunar New Year, to further boost nighttime tourism in Kaohsiung, the city’s Tourism Bureau specially issued 30,000 copies of the "Night Owl Handbook," featuring five major sightseeing routes—eastern, southern, western, northern, and nighttime Kaohsiung. It also collaborates with up to 60 local businesses including shops and accommodations, offering discounts as low as 50% off and freebies worth nearly NT$10,000 in total. The Night Owl Handbook can now be picked up for free at 11 Taiwan Rail stations including Taipei, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan, and Kaohsiung.

The "Colorful Night in Kaohsiung – Night Owl Handbook" integrates nearly 100 tourist attractions in Kaohsiung, organizing five major themed tours: Eastern Kaohsiung—A Cultural Harbor City for Prayer and Strolls, Western Kaohsiung—Leisurely Artistic Explorations Along the Riverbanks, Southern Kaohsiung—A Fashionable Port City for Enjoyment and Shopping, Northern Kaohsiung—Culinary Delights and Reflections in a Waterfront City, and Nighttime Kaohsiung—A Passionate Ancient Capital of Art and Light. In addition to these five tours, the Tourism Bureau has also partnered with over 60 local establishments for dining, entertainment, accommodation, and shopping. For accommodations, those presenting the handbook at hotels such as Howard Plaza Hotel Kaohsiung, Evergreen Laurel Hotel, and Spring Art Hotel can enjoy discounts starting from 50% off. For entertainment and dining, restaurants and venues such as Chengcing Lake, Datang KTV, Sea World, and Red Brick Cellar Music also offer discounts of 50% off or more.

 

Starting now, 30,000 copies of the "Colorful Night in Kaohsiung – Night Owl Handbook" can be picked up for free at 11 Taiwan Rail stations including Taipei, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan, and Kaohsiung, airport stations such as Songshan, Hualien, and Kaohsiung, as well as travel service centers in Taipei’s Eastern District, Beitou, Jian Tan, Ximen MRT stations, and nine service areas along national highways.
