Explore the spring blossoms on the East Coast: A successful sea of flowers showcasing indigenous culture

Starting from downtown Taitung and heading north along Highway 9, you can enjoy the layered greenery of Dulan Mountain, gaze at Green Island situated by the Kuroshio Current in the sea, pass through Dulan, Jinzun, Donghe, and Dulishan, and after going through the Sanciyuan Tunnel, you’ll arrive at the Chenggong Flower Sea. It’s about a one-hour drive to see vast fields of blooming flowers. This year, indigenous artists have also created many driftwood installations that decorate the vibrant flower fields. The park also features parent-child activities such as coffee-tasting and DIY painting. You can even sip locally grown Sanciyuan coffee on the viewing platform, taking in the breathtaking view of the endless sea of flowers merging with the ocean, marvel at the vastness of the Pacific, and admire the coastal beauty of the Sanciyuan Eight-Arch Bridge.
