The Peach Blossom Spring Feast at Meifeng Farm Kicks Off This Weekend

In the season of renewal, the Meifeng Farm of National Taiwan University in Nantou County is about to see its peach blossoms in full bloom. The farm, which has extensive peach orchards, transforms into a “peach blossom corridor” during the flowering period. From March 16 to 31, it will hold a Spring Feast event, featuring themed exhibitions, local specialty product sales and lectures, as well as guided tours. Admission is NT$250 on weekdays and NT$350 on weekends.

This year’s Spring Feast includes themes such as enjoying the peach blossoms and the unforgettable “Meifeng Four Seasons Briefing,” learning how to make “dried flowers,” admiring the most beautiful “temperate flower area” in Taiwan where tulips, clematis, Chinese bellflowers, and toadflax bloom in profusion, visiting the “Orchid Exhibition Hall” to explore uniquely featured orchids, and appreciating the “Taiwan Pleione Area” with its nationally unique plant varieties. There’s also the romantic pink “Peach Blossom Corridor,” the pesticide-free and fresh “Spinach Pavilion,” the hands-on “Happy Crafting” where you can make Taiwanese walnut seed pendants, the “Mountain Wild Grass Special Exhibition” decorated with moss, ferns, and wildflowers, the resource-recycling “Good Stuff Exchange, Share the Love” activity, and the “Story Pavilion” showcasing glimpses of the lives and work of farm staff, along with local specialty product sales.
