The "Prometheus," co-produced by the 2013 Kaohsiung Spring Arts Festival and the National Theater & Concert Hall International Arts Festival, will be performed on March 30 (Saturday) at the Zhide Hall of the Kaohsiung Cultural Center. The production is personally led by its director, Theodoros Terzopoulos, a celebrated contemporary Greek director and founder of the Attis Theatre. All actors and backstage staff will hold a full dress rehearsal before the official performance.

Prometheus, who brought fire to humanity, opened the door to civilization for mankind but was condemned to eternal punishment. Yet his prophetic ability to foresee Zeus's eventual downfall, along with his unyielding spirit of sacrifice and the resistance he embodied throughout the story, weaves together a profoundly moving political drama.
Having just concluded performances in Taipei and sparking lively discussions among critics and fans, "Prometheus" takes on a different character depending on the venue. To witness the intensity of the Attis Theatre director stepping into the role of the chorus leader, and to experience how the theater perfectly portrays the struggle against oppressive authority, the March 30 (Saturday) show is the final performance in Taiwan.
