The special exhibition "From Dragons to Beasts: Mass Extinction and Great Evolution," now open at the National Museum of Natural Science in Taichung, offers a visually captivating fossil experience, guiding the public through an exploration that blends evolutionary insight with the beauty of life, and is deeply rooted in scientific and educational value.

Following the "End of the World Exhibition," the "From Dragons to Beasts Exhibition" narrates the story of life’s extinction and evolution after the mass extinction event 65 million years ago. Featuring 104 specimens from Gansu Province, this exhibition showcases precious fossil treasures from three museums across the Strait, illustrating the demise of the "dragons" and the rise of the "beasts," inviting the public to witness this remarkable journey of life’s evolution.

The exhibition is divided into three main sections: the "Dragon Hall," "The Fall of Dinosaurs and the Rise of Mammals," and the "Beast Hall."
