Kaohsiung Spring Break City Tour – Explore All Day for Just NT$499

Where to go during the four-day Spring Break holiday? From April 4 to April 7, the Kaohsiung City Government Tourism Bureau is launching the NT$499 “Explore Kaohsiung City-Tour,” offering packages including the “Liouguei One-Day Tour,” the “Maolin Ecological Park & Saiga Amusement Park One-Day Tour,” and the “Jiashian, Shanlin, and Neimen One-Day Tour.” The Tourism Bureau stated that from March 30 to April 7, in addition to the lively 2013 Kaohsiung Neimen Songjiangzhen event, visitors are also welcome to enjoy the mountainous cityscapes and spring outings in Kaohsiung.

The “Liouguei One-Day Tour” includes visits to Liouguei Xinwei Forest Recreation Area, Eighteen Arhats Mountain, Meinong Yiben Dao Academy, Zhong Lihe Memorial Hall, and the Meinong Folk Village, along with a DIY plum-making experience to let visitors enjoy creating their own preserved plums. The “Maolin Ecological Park & Saiga Amusement Park” tour includes the Xinmao Bridge, Maolin Ecological Park, Saiga Amusement Park, and Qimei Sugar Refinery, and also offers a visit to UBAK Creative Workshop to make necklaces. Additionally, the “Jiashian, Shanlin, and Neimen” tour features the Little Forest Village Memorial Park — winner of the Livable City Award — the Little Forest Second Village Siraya Cultural Museum, Yuemei Tzu Chi Park, Neimen Shunxian Temple, and Qishan Old Street. Visitors can also engage in hands-on DIY activities, using their creativity to make gourds that symbolize good fortune.

The Tourism Bureau stated that the “Liouguei One-Day Tour” on April 5 and 7, the “Maolin Ecological Park & Saiga Amusement Park One-Day Tour” from April 4 to 6, and the “Jiashian, Shanlin, and Neimen One-Day Tour” are now open for registration, with groups of 30 or more able to depart.
