Taipei 101 and Tokyo Skytree Alliance Celebration – Prizes Galore

Following the signing of friendly cooperation agreements between Yushan and Japan’s Mount Fuji, as well as between the Pingxi Crags Railway and Japan’s Enoshima Electric Railway, Taipei 101 and Tokyo Skytree in Japan have now signed a joint promotional plan. The friendship between Taiwan and Japan continues to deepen as they join hands to promote the “2013 Taiwan-Japan Tourism Friendship Year.”

Following the signing of friendly cooperation agreements between Yushan and Japan’s Mount Fuji, as well as between the Pingxi Crags Railway and Japan’s Enoshima Electric Railway, Taipei 101 and Tokyo Skytree in Japan have signed a joint friendly promotion plan. This move further warms up Taiwan-Japan relations, as both sides work together to promote the “2013 Taiwan-Japan Tourism Friendship Year.”

The mascots of Taipei 101, “Damper Baby,” and the mascot of Tokyo Skytree, Sorakara-chan (Skytree Sister), also attended the signing press conference for the “Taiwan-Japan Tourism Landmark Friendship Year.” The two towers will jointly host a series of large-scale events to boost tourism between Taiwan and Japan, bringing more travel perks and benefits to visitors from both sides.

The joint activities will run from July 1. Visitors to Tokyo Skytree can receive scratch cards with prizes provided by Taipei 101, while visitors to Taipei 101 can get scratch cards offering prizes from Tokyo Skytree. Those who have visited both Taipei 101 and Tokyo Skytree will receive a set of commemorative stamp card collections. Detailed activity rules will be announced by the organizing parties.
