Shop in Xinyi District to grab great deals, enjoy free food, and win free trips to Malaysia

The charm of Nanyang (Malaysia) sweeps across Taiwan. On May 25 and 26 at Taipei’s Xinyi Vivocity, Tourism Malaysia is offering a variety of free food tasting and experience activities, as well as free tour packages, round-trip tickets to Malaysia, and other major prizes drawn daily, allowing everyone to get a taste of the festive atmosphere of Malaysia Tourism Year 2014 in advance!

To welcome Malaysia Tourism Year 2014, the Tourism Malaysia office will hold an expanded event titled “Endless Charm, Infinite Stories – All in Malaysia” at the pedestrian zone of Taipei Xinyi Vivocity. A variety of experience activities will allow visitors to explore the local customs and culture of Malaysia. Professional Malaysian dancers will perform traditional folk dances on-site. Visitors can also enjoy free hands-on experiences of traditional Malaysian batik and embroidery, as well as live performances and tastings of Malaysian teh tarik and roti jala. On the day, participants who complete the challenge activities will have a chance to win attractive prizes, including free tour packages to Malaysia and daily draws for round-trip tickets – definitely not to be missed!

 

In addition, for durian lovers, on the opening day of May 25, the organizers have prepared over 200 servings of Malaysia’s “Musang King” durian for everyone to enjoy. There will also be free tastings of Malaysian coffee and various Malaysian desserts. Last year, visitors who came to the event had a great time experiencing the rich flavors of Malaysia.
