Looking to take the kids out for a weekend adventure without breaking the bank? Don’t worry—Taipei has plenty of parks to explore. While most people think of parks as just slides and swings, if you want to give your children a unique and exciting experience, bring them to these three one-of-a-kind parks instead.

Bali: Bali Cultural Park
The adorable Miffy has crossed the ocean and landed in Taiwan’s Bali Cultural Park Up!. This little white bunny, created by Dutch illustrator Dick Bruna, steps out of her flat storybook world to meet the public face-to-face in Bali. Set on the expansive green riverside lawns, there are many Miffy-themed interactive art installations that are both fun to play with and great for photos.

Neihu: Bi Lake Park
The children's playground at Bi Lake Park is nestled by the beautiful lakeside. The wooden pirate ship features a bow, stern, and cabins designed with multi-pathways and platforms, offering more than just climbing fun. The area also includes a suspension bridge and climbing nets, creating a space where kids can freely explore and engage in imaginative play. The park’s 40-square-meter sandbox is especially loved by children.
